The objective of Trade Day is to expose teens and adults to hands-on learning in trades that may enlighten their inner tradesperson! Some students love working with their hands, but don't have access to people that are willing to take the time to share & expose them to the necessary skills to be successful.  The Trade Day sessions are conducted by local businesses with a wide range of options for both male and female youth.  Local trade colleges & trade organizations are invited to provide the participants with information on furthering their education with alternative colleges/programs.

Trade Day was designed to spark an interest at the beginning of each year with a one-day event. This leads directly into our STEAM & Trades Academies that allow for a deeper dive into the Trades with 4–6-week sessions.

Our Student Innovation Showcase invites young learners from traditional public schools, charter institutions, and private academies throughout our community to unite to demonstrate their creativity and knowledge through an interactive showcase highlighting Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and creative arts!

The initiative creates a platform for young innovators to demonstrate their creative problem-solving abilities and share their academic achievements with the wider community.

This celebration is proudly presented by The Brown House Experience, working alongside the National School Choice Awareness Foundation to bring this vision to life.
